Lots of great looks to go thru from this past week or so! First up, the 2014 Tony Awards, which aired on CBS!
Kelli certainly gets my top pick of the night — looking ethereal and angelic in this custom blush pink Narcisco Rodriguez gown. Coordinating perfectly with this soft look are some exquisite golden jewelry pieces from Fred Leighton — drop earrings, ruby ring, and bracelet. And finally, still keeping with the “soft” style for the night is a subtle yet lovely make-up job, provided by Tanya Rae — light smoky eye, slightly rosy cheeks, and a nude lip.
Shimmers and sparkles were a common trend of the night, but I say the golden shimmer and sparkle, provided by Anna, wins the night! She looks ahhhhhhhh GOLDEN in this column Jenny Packham dress, complete with a brocade print, belted waist, and intricate adornment at the neckline. The “golden” styling continues on to Anna’s accessory selections for the evening — gold clutch, ear cuffs by Graziela Gems, and rings from EF Collection, EFFY jewelry, and Dana Rebecca Designs.
There is just something about this print I love so I applaud Beth for going bold in selecting it. Bold prints can be hard to pull of, but it works here. Carolina Herrera does an amazing job with making prints work, especially in this mermaid skirt dress with a bowtie detailing at the waist.
ANIKA LARSEN
Theia designs always seem to catch my eye on the red carpet and so I’m glad to see the brand’s presence at the Tony’s, as worn on Anika. This navy blue gown is just so beautiful — the lace sheer cutout at the waist and slightest train are the perfect touches!
Leighton may have moved from the UES to the Broadway district, but she sure has not lost her Blair-esque style! I love this fitted white T-shirt Antonio Berardi gown — the fit, the capped sleeves, such a classic silhouette and style. Leighton’s overall aesthetic for this look appears to be simplistic minimalism and it continues with her accessories — Jacob & Co. jewelry (silver bracelet), black Jimmy Choo shoes, and a Emm Kuo clutch.
Not sure of any of the designer details for Thalia, but this short, sassy, and sweet # certainly deserves some recognition!!
PATRICIA CLARKSON
I love Patricia’s look; she looks so youthful and vibrant. Her choice for the evening, a dramatic and fiery red, strapless Dolce & Gabbana — what a fit! And also quite fitting are the chic silver Chopard jewelry pieces worn — bracelet, ring, and earrings.
Judith’s character on the Dallas reboot drives me crazy, but her look on the Tony’s red carpet, I love! It is such and elegant and classy choice — this long sleeved, fitted lace gown by Randi Rham.
JENNIFER HUDSON — While missing from the red carpet pics, Jennifer still donned an amazing look for the evening’s festivities so I had to include her on my best dressed list! This silver beaded and embellished gown from Kaufmanfranco is a stunner.
TINA FEY — Another miss from the red carpet, but still looking lovely as ever is Tina, so again, this look is a must-include!! This fit and flare detailed Oscar de la Renta gown is simply gorgeous. And Tina keeps the jewelry to a minimal effect — rings, bracelet, and earrings — all by Fred Leighton.
NEIL PATRICK HARRIS & DAVID BURTKA — And no best dressed list is complete without a few dapper gentlemen. NPH & David look handsome in their Tom Ford classic black tuxes!
Moving on now from the Tony’s, let’s take a look at some super HOTT looks from the 2014 Guys’ Choice Awards, presented by Spike TV.
Good Lord Jessica looks smokin’ in this David Koma LBD from the designer’s F/W 2014 collection. What is not to love here — the leather, the sheer cutouts, the detailed bodice!! To complete this phenomenal look Jessica chose the following accessories — strappy black Hugo Boss heels, a black rectangular DVF clutch, and some great jewelry pieces — rings from Melissa Kaye Jewelry and the Pearl Collective The Baroque Tahitian Pearl Spike Earrings ( a $225 value).
The ladies of this red carpet certainly knew how to pull out all the stops when it came to looking super sexy and Chrissy certainly doesn’t disappoint. She looks A-freakin’-mazing in this sunshine yellow, strapless and asymmetrical Three Floor Aspen Dress ( a $232 value). Her accessories are on point as well — a gold Kotur Morley Croc-Embossed Box Clutch ($450 value); Casadei Gladiator Stiletto Sandals ($890 value); and jewelry by Carla Amorim and Melinda Maria.
Lily also rocks an LBD, specifically a 10 Crosby Derek Lam dress from the designer’s F/W 2014 collection — strapless and slitted — looks great! And to top off the look, some statement making golden jewelry from Maiyet — necklace, bracelet and rings.
Jaime, while still looking very sexy, brings a little sophistication to her look as well, with this black embellished Emilio Pucci mini from the brand’s VIP collection. She is keeping all things sleek and in silver, including her sparkly Edie Parker clutch, Christian Louboutin heels, and lots of great jewelry — diamond Loree Rodkin ring and vintage dangling Cartier earrings (which were made available by Beladora, an online boutique for authentic designer and vintage jewelry).
NINA AGDAL — Emilio Pucci is just so amazing, the designer is on my list twice, for the same event!! Nina rocks this black and white Pucci and adds the perfect pop of sky blue color with a belted waistline. And another nice finishing touch — Graziela Gem earrings.
