It was certainly a sea of black looks at the Golden Globes this go round. And to support the TimesUp cause, this was the color chosen, and almost every attendee participated. When it comes to making a best dressed list, I find joy in the variety, but even with all black, there were some stellar standouts! Here are my faves!
Each year, the Metropolitan Museum of Art puts on an annualCostume Institute exhibit and this year’s exhibit focuses on designer Rei Kawakubo, Comme des Garçons, and “the art of the in-between.” It pays tribute to Rei Kawakubo, the legendary designer behind Commes Des Garçons. Kawakubo is known for her risk-taking, out-of-the-box aesthetic, and attendees channeled that with a stream of crazed beauty looks and extreme gowns/dresses. Here are my top pics!
