Lots to see from the 2017 Grammy Awards, but also the 2017 BAFTAs. Here are my faves —

  • Trying out the So Lashy Mascara by CoverGirl

  • Emanuel Ungaro gown

2016 ACM Awards — Best Dressed

There were some stunning looks this season on the red carpet for the ACM Awards. But I have to give major props to the gents this go round; there were so many who were killin’ it this past weekend. Here are all of my faves!

Kimberly Perry

Kimberly is a golden goddess in this nude, long-sleeved gown. All of the golden adorned embellishments are eye-catching!

Kimberly Schlapman

As a huge Project Runway fan, I of course had to include PR & Project Runway All-Stars alum Alexander Pope on this immaculate creation. With the current season of PRAS, the red carpet challenge, Kimberly agreed to wear one of the winning designs. Alexander by far had one of the best looks and this was a well-deserved win.

Maddie & Tae

This duo sure knows how to slay a red carpet! Maddie is donning a fit-and-flare black strapless Lorena Sarbu sweetheart dress, paired with black L.A.M.B. heels. Her styling was by Tiffany Gifford, makeup by Tarryn Feldman, glam by Kristen Carbine, and hair by Meg Boes.

Tae looked beautiful in an all black House of CB Jumpsuit, also wearing stunning L.A.M.B. heels — super sexy!

Lindsay Ell

Another PR alum on the list, Johnathan Kayne — such a gorgeous look! Full on glam, including hair & makeup, which was by Dover Hair & Makeup.

Kayla Adams

Johnathan Kayne has 2 stunning looks on the ACM red carpet. Kayla is rockin’ this bedazzled mini! She coordinated with her look, Alexis Bittar jewelry and Jimmy Choo heels. Her stylist for this dazzling look was Katy Robbins.

Kacey Musgraves

This is one stunning all black look, but what sets it apart from other traditional black looks on the red carpet — the details — the embellished bodice trim, the fit, the texture on the look, just to name a few. Zac Posen did a grand job here! Her other look details were inclusive of —

Savannah Chrisley

What red carpet is complete without a barely there, insanely stunning look. Savannah wins that award here, wearing an ivory sheer, sparkling Amato Couture look. Other look details include —

Dolly Parton

Not sure who Dolly is wearing, but she looks like the country music Queen that she is — royally majestic!

Keith Urban & Nicole Kidman

nicole-kidman-290Keith looks great, not sure of the designer details for his all black look, but Nicole is very much the shining, fashionable star of the duo. But of course as a pair, the 2 look quite lovely! Nicole is wearing a long-sleeve, sheer black Alexander McQueen gown, featuring a sequin unicorn on the front and more animal motifs. She paired with her look, vintage Fred Leighton jewels.

Thomas Rhett & Lauren Gregory

Thomas went a little fun for his suit look, going with a very cool colored choice rather than staples such as black or grey. And Lauren truly was his perfect red carpet match, looking angelic in this minimalist white gown.

Dan & Shay

Dan & Shay, lookin’ quite dapper as a duo, but add in their beautiful ladies, we have a dynamite foursome now!

Charles Kelley

Charles is lookin’ quite handsome in his black Saint Laurent suit. I love the details — the forest green tie and polka dot shirt.

Sam Hunt

Sam went a little classic in all black, but with a modern flair as his suit is sans tie.

Reid Perry

Guys rockin’ these hip colored suits and not lookin’ cheesy, I’m loving it!

Dustin Lynch

Dustin is pairing blue and black, looking amazing!

Kane Brown

So many handsome gents on this list, right!! Kane is another who is looking just as suave and debonair as the rest!

Tim McGraw

Tim is keeping it old-school country in his all black suit and he looks great. The fit here is spot on.

Darius Rucker

And to complete my look, an all black suit from Darius — how adorable is he!

2016 Oscars — Best Dressed

There were indeed some stunning looks at the 2016 Oscars. Here are my top picks from the evening’s red carpet!

Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer radiates in this lacy black Christian Dior Couture gown. Other look details include —

Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy looks sensational in this crimson lace Marchesa gown. I love that she is brimming with such beauty and this look is certainly eye-catching. Full look details —

Other beauty look details —

TRESemme Beauty-Full Volume Mousse and TRESemme Beauty-Full Volume Hair Maximizer (each $4.99) Mousse is back with a vengeance this season, but this isn’t the stuff of your worst middle school nightmares. It’s light and airy, and paired with volumizing cream (hairstylist Christian Wood applied it only to the ends of Teigen’s hair) it creates the just-right amount of hold for a braid or updo.

Makeup artist Mary Phillips used the Lorac Unzipped Palette—the lighter colors in it for lift and highlighting, and the darker colors for depth and pop. In-between eyelash hairs, Phillips applied Lorac Front of the Line Pro Liquid Eyeliner in Black to create a thicker, bolder lash line without the heaviness of a full line sitting on top. She then used Lorac Front of the Line Pro Eye Pencil in Bronze and topped it off with Lorac Pro Mascara.

Isla Fisher

This Marchesa gown is nothing short of a work of art. Isla looks beautiful. Her other look details are inclusive of —

Saoirse Ronan

This is a great color, not only for Saorise, but also for the red carpet. This custom Calvin Klein Collection gown is simply radiant. The rest of her look details include —

Other beauty look details —

Anna-Marie Carpendale

Not sure of the look details for Anna Marie, but I do love this sparkly deep V-neck gown, gorgeous!

Sofia Vergara

Sofia is the epitome of glamour and beauty in this strapless, flowing navy Marchesa gown, complete with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. Huge kudos to her glam team as well —

Cate Blanchett

This mint green Armani Prive looks sensational on Cate. It is adorned with Swarovski crystal & feathers. She added some extra sparkle with Tiffany & Co. jewelry. And for a pre-beauty regime, she applied a facial treatment courtesy of SK-II.

Dorith Mous

Dorith appeared as if she was straight out of a fairy tale book, dazzling in this black Dennis Diem gown. Other look details were as follows —

Naomi Watts

I’m familiar with this Armani print, but I really enjoyed seeing it in a different silhouette. Naomi for sure rocked the look! Her other look details included —

Diane Mizota

Diane looked beautiful, but also very sexy in this sparkly Thai Nguyen look. Her other look details were —

Tracey Edmonds

Tracey looked so lovely in this pearl adorned ivory fitted gown by Lorena Sarbu. Other look details —

Tina Fey

Tina went the minimalist route, but did so very well by picking this extraordinary color, royal purple. So her Atelier Versace look was an A+ in my book. And her statement-making necklace was courtesy of Bulgari.

Sylvester Stallone & Jennifer Flavin

No Best Dressed list is complete without a dynamic duo and one of my picks, Sylvester and his gorgeous bride Jennifer. They are killing it in their black ensembles, both courtesy of Saint Laurent.

Tom Hardy & Charlotte Riley

Another stunning pair on the Oscars red carpet. Tom and Charlotte, who also rocked all black looks. Tom was stylish in a black Gucci tuxe with Louboutin shoes and Cutler & Gross sunglasses. Charlotte opted for a ravishing Gauri & Nainika gown with a immaculately crafted lace bodice.

Sam Smith

Sam was quite dapper in his classic black tuxe from Dunhill. Other look details included —

Ryan Seacrest

88th Annual Academy Awards - Arrivals

And last, but certainly not least, Mr. Ryan Seacrest looking quite handsome in his very own line, Ryan Seacrest Distinction.

2016 Golden Globes AfterParties — Best Dressed

After such a stunning initial red carpet review for the 2016 Golden Globes, it’s hard to imagine there were even more gorgeous looks that evening! But alas, at the various afterparties of the evening, namely the InStyle and Warner Bros. event, there were indeed plenty more looks deserving of a Best Dressed nod!

Nikki Reed & Ian Somerhalder

Nikki looked like a golden goddess in this intricately detailed Naeem Khan gown. Her other marvelous look details included —

Ian kept it classy and debonair in a classic black Dior tuxe. His other look details included —

Nikki Reed, Ian Somerhalder

Victoria Justice

Red hot! Wow, love, love this stunning fiery red Bao Tranchi gown that Victoria is wearing. Great choice! She also rocked —

Vanessa Hudgens

There is nothing negative I can say about this mesmerizing CD Greene gown that Vanessa is wearing. It has so many interesting facets and she looks so beautiful. Her other look details were inclusive of —

Halston Sage

Halston looked radiant in this fully embellished, golden Michael Kors gown. Her other style details are —

 Lea Michele

Lea always looks beautiful, but especially so in this lovely minimalist, all-white Michael Kors gown. Full look details are as follows —

Amanda Crew

I am a huge fan of Yanina Couture, so of course I had to include Amanda as she is donning one of there glorious creations! To complete her look —

Alexandra Daddario

Gold & shimmery are definitely a trend on my Best Dressed list. And Alexandra is right there in this amazing Reem Acra gown. Complimenting here look are some lovely pieces of Buccellati jewelry.
Alyssa Milano
Alyssa looks remarkable in this fitted marsala Zac Posen dress. Complimenting her look are —

Jamie Chung

Hard to go wrong in black & white! Jamie looks great in this gorgeous number. To top off her look —

Olivia Holt

Olivia looks like a living doll in this bold fuscia Marchesa gown, with lovely details around the neckline. She paired with her look some stunning pieces of Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Rumer Willis

Rumer went super sexy in this immaculate white gown by Michael Costello — what a knockout! Paired with her look, beautiful Parade earrings.

Sarah Hyland

Sarah went the minimalist route, but looks effortless and elegant in this black Amanda Wakeley gown. And no other to better add some needed sparkled to this all black look than Lorraine Schwartz.

Becca Tobin

Not sure of the designer details for Becca, but this is a great look for her. She looks ravishing and is really working this bronzed look!

Katharine McPhee

What an enticing detail this dress offers! Katharine picked it right with this Badgley Mischka dress — intriguing design and perfection with the cutouts. Other look details —

Cara Santana & Jesse Metcalfe

This is a very dynamic red carpet pair. They are knocking it out of the park with this pale palette. Jesse is looking good as ever in his Maison Martin Margiela suit. And Cara too looks very foxy in this Thai Nguyen look. Her look was styled by Annabelle Harron.

Paul Wesley

2015 InStyle And Warner Bros. 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards Post-Party - Arrivals

Paul is looking very handsome in this all black Theory suit.

Jussie Smollett

Jussie opted for a traditional black tuxe by Calvin Klein. Grooming was by Nil Muir Beauty.

Trai Byers

And The 2015 Award Season Marches On…

The Oscars still remain, but in the mix of all the main red carpet Grammys hoopla, there were a few other red carpet events over the past week that are worthy of some Best Dressed nods — BAFTA (British Academy of Film & Television Arts), Grammys performance looks, after party looks, and more! For the Grammys after-party, namely Warner Bros, other partners were Spotify & DeLeon.

Here is my Best Dressed Round-Up list, ENJOY!

Reese Witherspoon

Reese is ravishing in this deep purple Stella McCartney dress, paired perfectly with some elegant Tiffany & Co. jewelry pieces. And with just a peep, she is also matching with dark purple Jimmy Choo heels. (BAFTA)

Laura Haddock

Laura looks ethereal and magical in this ivory Ashi Studio gown, complete with a full ball gown tulle skirt. She is continuing her royal-like treatment with some exquisite diamond De Beers jewelry pieces. Her natural beauty look, soft nude lip, is courtesy of Lancôme UK. And her chic updo, a chignon, is by Chris Williams. (BAFTA)

Elizabeth Banks

While attending the Love & Mercy premiere during the 65th Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin, Germany Elizabeth truly donned a work of art with this stunning burgundy embellished Elie Saab Couture dress. She looks radiant from head to toe, including her statement-making Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Giuliana Rancic

Debuting at her 1st Grammy Awards, for pre-coverage on the Red Carpet, Giuliana went with super chic black Steven Khalil gown. I love the details here, the slit, open neckline, sheer detailing on the sleeve — it’s all great!

She coordinated with her look, classic black heels by Gianvito Rossi and lots of diamonds, diggin’ the Jack Vartanian earrings!

Rosamund Pike

Rosamund looks gorgeous in all black, thanks to Roland Mouret with this amazing haltered, understated gown. Keeping with the minimalistic route, she is donning a few diamond pieces from Bulgari. (BAFTA)

Lea Seydoux

Lea looks striking and brimming with sunshine in this canary yellow Prada gown with side cutouts. This is the perfect look for her. This color can be very hard to pull off and she is pulling it off amazingly! (BAFTA)

Natalie Dormer

Such a classic look, but I really loved that Natalie made it her own and spiced things up a bit with these cobalt blue lace gloves. But I really do love this 2-tone navy blue & black Sophia Kah gown, flowing so beautifully with a lace train. Paired with her look, black Casadei heels and Yoko London jewels. (BAFTA)

Holliday Grainger

EE British Academy Film Awards 2015 - Red Carpet Arrivals

Not sure the designer for this elegant number, but it’s simply beautiful, classic black & white, the draping, just magnificent! And to top off her ladylike ensemble, Holliday is donning some breathtaking diamond jewelry pieces from De Beers. (BAFTA)

Maria Menounos

Maria is the embodiment of sexyglam in this black Emilio Pucci mini with lace details. And also, I mean, LEGS FOR DAYS, right! Karla Otto worked wonders in finding this perfect look for her. (Grammys)

Giannetos Dimitris too did a fabulous job with Maria’s hair — in love with this chic braid!

And you can’t forget even the tiniest of details, such as how terrific this nail art is, kudos to Nail Job Love.

Heather McComb

Huge fan of Mac Duggal and thus now, huge fan of Heather — definitely workin’ this super fresh & fly LBD, with little twists & exciting details, such as sheer lace effects & embellishments. This is the perfect look for Heather while attending a pre-Grammy party, hosted by Primary Wave, also partnered with Brand Synergy Group & Cross. Coordinating perfectly with her look, another fave brand of mine, ashlyn’d clutches, and this charming little black clutch!

Styling was on point here, so kudos to Chic Little Devil Style House.

Dana Ward

Dana Ward_Mac Duggal(2)

Dana is the executive producer & host for ClevverTV, so of course she had to look super amazing & sexy while conducting some live Grammy coverage. And that she did in this gorgeous black & nude Mac Duggal mini.

Ariana Grande

I wasn’t in love wit Ariana’s red carpet look, too much dangling fabric. But I am head over heels for this Versace dress with a haltered neckline and cutouts. It was the right look for her moving performance!

Laura Bailey

Laura looked out of this world in this textured white Emilia Wickstead gown. It was demure and very ladylike; I’m a fan! (BAFTA)

image Felicity Jones

What a look! Felicity looks mesmerizing in this floral embellished 2-tone Dior gown. It’s magically enchanting and I’m entranced! She has paired with her look some understated diamond jewelry pieces —  Van Cleef and Arpel vintage earrings. (BAFTA)

Fifth Harmony

Republic Records And Big Machine Label Group Post GRAMMY CelebrationThe ladies were out and all lookin’ good while partying after the Grammys, at Republic Records And Big Machine Label Group Bash that night at Warwick. These girls are always coordinating, yet still all looking great — phenomenal!

Dramatizon Make-up Presents — Ice Kings & Queens

10920935_10152660696833546_2388380923929450778_nIt was my distinct pleasure and honor to attend, for the 2nd year in a row, a wintry fashion show like no other — Ice Kings & Queens! Tawni Michelle of Dramatizon Make-up, Tawni’s own business, was the creative mind and talent who conceived and developed this magical winter wonderland. The entire show, from start to finish, was stunningly mind-blowing. It was a great night indeed! Before I get to the specifics, here are some other important show credits that helped to make the entire event possible —

Whether male or female, Tawni did a spectacular job, creating some eye-catching artistry thru make-up design. Every detail was thought out. The winter colors of deep blue, dark purple, crisp white, and more were 100% on point. I’m thoroughly impressed by how imaginative Tawni is. She definitely did not disappoint and I’m already counting down to whatever her next presentation might be!

And of course, the striking and boldly designed hair for this show, above and beyond, and completely mesmerizing. The intricacies, the details, the work that Fallon has put in here was top-notch.

I’m not sure there are enough words to explain how great Fallon’s hair design was this year. Each look was so unique and so captivating from every angle. The Tawni & Fallon team for these shows are no doubt the very definition of a dynamic duo.

Fallon too has her own hair design business, but she also works as a hair stylist with Vidov Salon. So if you are ever in need of your own chic, stylish up-do, I’m sure she would love to assist!

Another exciting moment of the evening was being able to see the insanely talented and gorgeous GinaMarie Zimmerman. It’s been great getting to know more about GM since meeting her last year at the show. She is such a kind spirit and she has been doing some great things since her 2nd place win and stint on CBS’s hit summer reality show, Big Brother. She has been modeling, acting, working on her music, and so much more.

A recent film she took part in, Piranha Sharks, and you can also check out her hot dance-track Open Book.

10898082_10152692753208546_8223807944053554666_nAlso, remember each model for the showing is donning some exquisitely unique and custom lingerie pieces, courtesy of Gigi Carnett! GinaMarie is definitely workin’ these pieces!

I am also very happy to have met another new friend from this event, another multi-talented model Ricky Jarman. He not only can work the runway and photo-shoots, but he also acts and is too working on his music career. I recently checked him out at his live show at the historic Bitter End here in NYC, and wow, I’m impressed! At the end of March he will be releasing an album, The Pursuit, co-produced by DJ Kodzu.

I urge you all to check him out online and across social media — Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and more. Also, check out some of his hot music videos, two of my faves “Do It” and “Make It Happen.”

FB_IMG_1422585782664If I haven’t said it enough, this Tawni/Dramatizon original presentation was phenomenal. It was fun for one evening to be whisked away into a winter wonderland fantasy. Here are some more photos of the event and photo credits for the photos throughout my post.

2015 PCAs — It’s All About the Firsts Baby!

First awards show of the year, aka 1st major red carpet. Thus, the 1st Best Dressed List of 2015 for Fashion Nexus! And based off this list, a first for my fashion blog, if I’m not mistaken, I included a decent amount of pant suits or jumpsuits. Usually, I am not a fan, but these ladies tailored their looks so well; the fit was very much on point. So without further adieu, here are my top fave looks for the 2015 People’s Choice Awards!!

1420681246_allison-janey-560  Allison Janney

Allison’s all over glittery silver Rani Zakhem fitted dress dazzled. It sort of reminded me of a disco ball, but I could care less. This was glitz and glam perfection! She accessorized her look with a deep red Devi Kroell clutch and diamond Martin Katz jewels.

The 41st Annual People's Choice Awards - Arrivals

Allison really showcased high fashion & style throughout the night as she was the co-host of the PCAs. I think she rocked her sexy side in the red fitted knee-length dress with lace detailing. She also found a way to keep up with a red carpet trend of the night, making pants suits WERK, and she did so just as well as the rest with her all white suited look. She hit high marks with another trend for the night, all black looks, as she looked fab in her embellished black gown. And to top her night off of many fashionable looks, a fitted turquoise gown — A++ Allison, you did great at hosting, but also at being a fashion queen for the Red Carpet!

Anna Faris’ looks were not too shabby either as she was the other co-host. She found the fun with this embellished tangerine Georges Hobeika knee-length dress. She too rocked an all white suited look alongside Allison. She certainly then found the glam with her all-over embellished black floor-length gown. The 4th look was her red carpet number, not my fave of the night, but still showcasing a bit of sass with this 2-piece Juan Carlos Obando look. And then finally, super sexy, yet chic, in this long-sleeved sparkly gold mini. Overall, I still give Anna high marks for her many fashionable choices!

Giuliana Rancic

Giuliana went old school Hollywood glam in this fit & flare mint green Tony Ward dress. All styling was perfectly in line with this retro-glam vibe. Kudos to her whole team — styling by Monica Rose; soft, subtle makeup by Daniel Deleno; & luscious waves by Melissa Brown.

1420680915_portia-de-rossi-560  Portia de Rossi

This is a stunning jumpsuit. Portia definitely picked a winner in this royal blue Zuhair Murad look with a geometric print bodice. It was such a chic, minimalistic ensemble, as were her accessory choices — nude Giuseppe Zanotti heels and Jacquie Aiche jewelry.

Stana Katic

Stana was the elegant belle of the ball in this flowing black and white floral Carolina Herrera gown. To top off this breathtaking look, her black Amanda Pearl clutch and Neil Lane jewelry.

Brooke Anderson

Not sure who Brooke is wearing, but I love this 2-piece black look. What’s not to love! — the full skirt, the embellished bodice. She just looks so effortlessly chic and elegant.

1420682756_sarah-hyland-560  Sarah Hyland

Sarah, like Allison, also chose a sparkling silver number. She went with this gorgeous Christian Siriano short dress with an embellished sheer overlay. And her silver coloring didn’t end there — silver Stuart Weitzman heels, a silver Jil Milan clutch, and silver/diamond Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. She even made use of some statement-making silver eye-shadow. But all silver was no problemo for me, I loved this fresh, youthful look for her.

1420679851_bella-thorne-560  Bella Thorne

Bella was in H2T Armani. As I said earlier, not generally a fan of pant suits for the runway, but this look was so chic, so fitted, very well tailored. She not only looked effortlessly beautiful with her look, but also her beauty regime — compliments of Neutrogena from Walgreens, Zen lashes, with Neutrogena brand Ambassador Amy Oresman to assist in providing this glowing make-up look, bold red lip, and then also, gorgeous waves, courtesy of Castillo hair.

Monica Potter

Another all black look, this time a DVF jumpsuit with a chain-linked neckline. Monica appeared to be beaming all night, and why not when you can make an understated jumpsuit look so fabulous. She also donned some lovely Phillips House accessories.

Kimberly Perry

Not sure who Kimberly is wearing, but she looks stunning in this nude belted dress. She looks great, from head to toe, so another huge kudos for the styling team — CLD Style/PR; Luxury Brand PR; and stylist Cory B. Savage. She further accessorized her look with a leopard clutch and L’Dezen jewelry.

Ellen Pompeo

Ellen looks radiant in this blush pink Elie Saab jumpsuit with lace detailing. She looks mesmerizing! Her look is completed with Christian Louboutin shoes, a burgundy Salvatore Ferragamo clutch, Graziela Gems diamond stud earrings, and a Dana Rebecca Designs ring.

Katharine McPhee

Katharine looked super sexy in this black & white Balmain fitted number, with a midriff cutout and a criss-cross haltered top. She is accessorizing with heels from Daniele Michetti and Kwiat jewelry. Katharine had an amazing team behind her to create this STUNNING look — Jeff K Kim for styling; chic updo from Kylee Heath; & a bold, luscious beauty look with dark burgundy lip by Kindra Mann-Weber.

Fifth Harmony

Two trends of the night, all black & nude/blush looks. Fifth Harmony made use of both to create their ensemble of looks for the group. Each gal looks super sexy in their individual fitted look!

Ally looked sexy fab as she wore a black strapless DSquared2 mini and dramatic heels, with some statement-making jewelry from Lionette by Noa Sade and Charles Albert.

Normani  rocked a sexy casual look, wearing a DSquared2 jacket and leather skirt combo, and also donning some statement jewelry, dangling earrings from Lionette by Noa Sade.

This was a near total DSquared2 night for the gals, as Lauren was also in a fitted DSquared2 dress, but she opted for PUSHMATAaHa jewelry.

I’ve seen Dinah’s fitted long-sleeved DSquared2 dress on a different red carpet, but she rocked it just as well, complete with Charles Albert jewels.

And finally, Camilla wore a Gemy Maalouf 2-piece ensemble, a barely there number for sure, with nude Alejandra G. heels.

Chris Evans

What best dressed list would be complete without a few handsome gentleman to grace us with their presence. Chris looks casually laid back, relaxed, & suave in this sweater/slacks look. As you will see, the boys loved their many shades of blue!

As I said, the guys loved some blue looks, and Gregg certainly rocked this dark blue Marc Jacobs suit, very handsome indeed!

So Let’s Talk, VS Fashion Show

The models, the looks, the performances, all unbelievably amazing and stunning! What a show! For the 2014 Victoria Secret ‘s Fashion Show, Karlie Kloss, Behati Prinsloo, Adriana Lima, and all of the VS models hopped the pond to work their wings in London. Here are some of my most fave looks and the gorgeous models who rocked them on the runway!
